英國衛報報導，英國衛生部（The Department of Health and Social Care）證實英國國會議員、衛生部次長多里斯（Nadine Dorries）確診感染新冠肺炎。消息起初曝光於英國泰唔士報，一名發言人證實，多里斯正在接受治療，稍晚將會發布完整聲明。

報導指出，她本月5日前往唐寧街10號首相府參加活動，6日不適，感染來源不明。

多里斯是英國第一個確診的國會議員，近日曾在國會接觸數百人。

BBC報導，英國目前有382個確診並例，已有六人喪生。
