I see you阿凡達創流行語(世界咖啡館)

I see you?
Yes!
“I see you”is used by the characters when they're involved in really deep conversations and all caught up in the spiritual moment. It's a way for them to verbalize their intense connection, and to Cameron's credit he sets it up and pays it off in ways that maximize its schmaltz factor. The director seems to have a knack for piecing together these lines of dialogue and promoting them in a way so that they remain in the public consciousness (and as a part of pop culture) for years.(這段文字寫得很有趣,讀者不妨唸一遍)
I Jump!」
Renee的回答更是一絕:“You had me at hello.”(你說Hello時就征服我了)
“I see you” 會不會是下一個“You complete me”?
“He wants this film to define an era, and‘I see you’was not just another random line of dialogue -- it was created for you to use as a pick-up line, during a wedding proposal or as part of several spoof videos and movies in the years to come.”
Note:
Did your plan pay off?
2.schmaltz
3.have a knack(知道訣竅、熟諳於)
My car has a knack of breaking down just when I need it most.
4.pick up line
Man: Excuse me, haven't we met before?
Woman: It's the worst pick-up line ever.
Jake Sully(蘇傑克)
Everything is backwards now, like out there is the true world and in here is the dream.
They've sent us a message … that they can take whatever they want. Well, we will send them a message: that this … this is our land!
I may just be talking to a tree, but if you can hear me I need to give you a heads up.
Head up在工作場合常常聽見, just want to give you a heads up..... heads up 是一個慣用法,就是提個醒,告訴你一下的意思。
例如,我說,hey, just want to give you a heads up, we will have our user ID disabled tomorrow, 嘿,就想告訴你一下,明天我們戶名就不能用了。
Dr. Grace Augustine(葛雷博士)
Just relax and let your mind go blank. That shouldn't be too hard for you.
When confronted with such questions, my mind goes blank, and I can hardly remember my own date of birth.
Colonel Quaritch(上校)
You are not in Kansas anymore. You are on Pandora, ladies and gentlemen. Respect that fact every second of every day. If there is a Hell, you might want to go there for a little R&R after a tour on Pandora.
R&R意思很多,可以是Rock & Roll(搖滾)也可以是RestRoom(廁所),這裡的意思Rest and relaxation(休息放鬆)。 Just got back from the weekend spa. Got some much needed r&r.
You haven't got lost in the woods, have you? You still remember what team you're playing for?
Part 1:我的世界地圖-Are you Game? By Wendy周
The minute you set foot in San Francisco, you'll know it's a city with strong personalities. First of all, the country's first Chinese immigrants came to San Francisco in 1848. You can easily spot Chinese influences in the city. Also, it is well-known for having an enormous gay community. Another thing people find it very interesting is that San Francisco is a small reflection of the world out there. One minute you're walking down the street with the world's top brand retail shops next to you, next minute you'll find a shelter for the homeless with a long line awaiting for accommodations. Drive across the Bay Bridge to an old navy-based island called Treasure Island, and you'll get the most amazing view of the city. It is a city full of extreme contrasts, yet San Franciscans all have something in common- finding the art of living.
Example: Most people who live in Taipei have never set foot in the Taipei 101 Observation Deck to see the view of the city.
Spot: 看到
Example: I spot my favorite PDA at once when I walked into the store.
San Franciscan Craziness - Are you game?
There are a lot of craziness happening in the city, are you game?
第一次看到are you game?
Example:
A: I am going to dinner with my friends, do you want to come?
B: Sure, I'm game.
Love Fest: It is now the largest electronic music event in America. It occurs annually in San Francisco in late September to early October. People parade down Market Street (main street in downtown SF) and party right in front of San Francisco City Hall.
Bay to Breakers: It is an annual footrace which takes place in San Francisco on the third Sunday in May. Large numbers of participants walk the route behind the runners. Some participants dress in elaborate costumes or wear nothing at all, thus giving a party atmosphere to the event.
Bay to Breakers
San Francisco Pride: It is a parade held in June each year in San Francisco to celebrate the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered people and their allies. It is one of the most famous and best-attended pride parades in the world.
